The face behind the camera ...
Looking back, I have always loved pictures and have a true love for photography! Anyone can tell from the mass amounts of photographs I have from growing up. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelors degree in Business/Marketing never dreaming that I might one day have a photography business. When my daughter was born in 2006, I started thinking about what would allow me to stay at home with her & do something I loved. I worked for HIT Entertainment, the home of the beloved, big purple dino Barney™, for 10 years but with the closing of the Dallas, Texas office and a now 15 month old child at home, I needed to find something new. As I started thinking about what I REALLY wanted to do with my life, my husband mentioned my love for photography. The more I thought about it, the more excited I became. So in January of 2008, I created Lori Carr Photography, fka Snapshot Junkie Photography, and as they say 'the rest is history'... I hope to share MY love for photography with you and your family.
